If you are interested in a K1 Fiancé Visa, you might be wondering how long this process typically takes. On average, to obtain a K1 visa, it takes about six to nine months from beginning to end. There are roughly six phases in this K1 visa timeline. They are as followed…

  1. Petition review: takes about four hours
  2. USCIS NOA 1: about one to three weeks
  3. USCIS NOA 2: roughly five to seven months
  4. NVC Phase: two to three weeks
  5. Embassy Phase: about one to three months
  6. Visa Granted: typically, two to five days

These are all based on averages, if forms are incorrectly filled out and/or you are missing things along the way, you may experience a longer timeline. Give us a call 704-412-9450 so we can assist you in your K1 visa process.
