The U.S. Embassy in Georgetown, Guyana has resumed non-immigrant visas including tourism visas and business travel visas.

If you are getting a visa renewal, you may be able to get your interview waived. The embassy website states "If you are a Guyanese national or resident renewing a visitor (B1/B2) or Transit (C1/D) visa which was previously issued in Guyana, that has expired within the last 48 months, you may be eligible for an “interview waived” appointment."

For first time applicants, there are many non-immigrant visas available, however wait times could be lengthy. The embassy website states, "there will continue to be extended wait times for appointments for routine travel given the current demand and our reduced processing capacity due to COVID-19 safety precautions. Applicants are encouraged to plan far in advance"
